KIESEL impeller pumps
KIESEL impeller pumps are self-priming rotary pumps. They combine the features of a rotary pump and a positive displacement pump in one. The principle of operation is very simple. The main element of the pump is a flexible wheel (impeller) made of an elastomeric material called neoprene. The individual wings of the impeller are strongly curved, due to rotation, against an eccentric plate.
On the pumped side, the wings are spread apart due to residual stresses. The suction area increases. A vacuum develops, so that the pump fills itself.
On the pressure side, the wings are squeezed together. The gaps are getting smaller and smaller and are emptying out.

Impeller pumps are available in portable models (up to IP 03) and mobile models.
All parts of the pump that come into contact with the working fluid are made of stainless steel, number 1.4301/304, electrolytically polished.
As standard, the pumps can be supplied with or without bypass.
The pumps are equipped with such motors:

- Polar reversing motor 700/1400 min-1
- Variable speed motor 200-1400 minutes-1 variable
- Frequency approx. 150-1500 minutes-1
